Key Responsibilities & Daily Tasks
- 1Operating and monitoring production machinery and conveyor lines to prepare, cook, assemble, and package food products according to strict specifications.
- 2Conducting quality control checks at all stages of production, visually inspecting products for defects, weight, and presentation, and reporting any issues to the team leader.
- 3Adhering to the highest standards of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene (HACCP), including wearing full PPE, maintaining a clean-as-you-go workspace, and completing hygiene logs.
- 4Manual handling tasks including loading raw ingredients, stacking finished product, and palletising goods for dispatch in a safe and efficient manner.
- 5Working effectively as part of a shift team to meet daily production targets and contributing to a positive, collaborative working environment.
- 6Participating in daily team briefings and end-of-shift clean-downs, ensuring the production area is left in an impeccable state for the next shift.
