Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Set up, operate, and dismantle a wide range of AV equipment including projectors, LED walls, sound systems, microphones, mixers, and video conferencing technology (Zoom, Teams, Webex) for events in Middlesbrough and across Teesside.
- Perform routine testing, fault-finding, and preventative maintenance on all technical systems, ensuring all equipment is fully operational and health & safety compliant before client use.
- Liaise directly with clients, event organisers, and presenters to understand their technical requirements, provide on-the-spot support, and ensure a flawless audience experience.

Essential Skills & Requirements
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years professional experience as an AV Technician, Media Technician, or similar role. Experience in corporate, education, or live event settings is highly desirable.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of audio mixers (analogue & digital), video switchers, projection technology, and basic IT networking for AV systems. Familiarity with brands like Crestron, Extron, or Q-SYS is a bonus.
- Problem-Solving & Initiative: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues under pressure, think logically, and implement quick solutions to minimise event disruption.
- Communication & Teamwork: Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team and provide clear, patient support to non-technical clients and presenters.

Pay Structure
