Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Safely operate a company or agency-provied van (up to 3.5 tonnes) for the delivery and collection of goods, parcels, and equipment across London E15 and Greater London.
- Plan efficient daily routes using digital maps or a provided manifest, ensuring time-sensitive deliveries are met, often working alongside a Parcel Sorter or loader at the depot.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery notes, PODs (Proof of Delivery), and vehicle defect sheets, reporting any issues immediately.
- Conduct daily vehicle safety checks (tyres, lights, oil, fuel) and maintain a clean and tidy cab, representing the client professionally at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service during drop-offs, handling queries and ensuring correct procedures are followed for failed deliveries.
- Adhere strictly to all driving laws, London ULEZ regulations, and company policies regarding safe driving, working hours, and data protection.

Must-Have Qualifications
- A full, valid UK manual driving licence (Category B) with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Proof of Right to Work in the UK (Passport, Birth Certificate, BRP).
- A solid, checkable employment history, preferably with previous driving experience.
