Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties

A Hotel Porter's day is varied and fast-paced. Your core duties will ensure the smooth operation of the hotel's front-of-house services.

• Guest Arrival & Departure: Warmly welcome guests upon arrival, assisting with luggage from vehicles to rooms and vice versa. Efficiently manage the luggage storage system for early arrivals and late departures.
• Concierge & Information Services: Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, local attractions, transport links, and restaurant recommendations. Handle basic guest enquiries with professionalism.
• Valet & Porterage Services: Coordinate with the door staff and valet parking attendants (where applicable) to ensure a seamless guest experience. Deliver items such as newspapers, parcels, and room service amenities to guest rooms promptly.
• Lobby & Entrance Maintenance: Maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming presence in the main lobby, entrance, and porch areas. This includes light cleaning, arranging furniture, and ensuring pathways are clear and safe.
• Logistics & Communication: Liaise effectively with reception, housekeeping, and security teams to relay guest messages and requests. Assist with the setup for events or group arrivals as required.
• Guest Assistance: Help guests with hailing taxis, arranging airport transfers, and providing directions. Offer assistance to guests with disabilities or those requiring special attention.

Candidate Requirements & What We're Looking For
