Key Responsibilities & Duties

- Goods In / Despatch: Unload incoming vehicles, check goods against manifests, and report any discrepancies. Safely and efficiently load outbound vehicles, ensuring all documentation is complete.
- Stock Control & Replenishment: Conduct regular stock counts, relocate stock using manual pallet trucks or forklift (training provided), and ensure warehouse zones are fully replenished for peak operational efficiency.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment in line with strict site safety protocols. Adhere to all manual handling guidelines.
- Team Support & Communication: Work collaboratively with team members and report directly to the shift Warehouse Manager. Effective communication is key in this fast-paced airport logistics setting.
What We're Looking For
- Previous Experience: Ideally 6+ months in a warehouse, logistics, or similar manual handling role. However, we welcome applications from motivated individuals with a strong work ethic; see our guide to no experience jobs for more opportunities.
- Physical Fitness & Stamina: The role involves prolonged standing, walking, lifting (adhering to safe limits), and working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
- Reliability & Punctuality: Due to the critical nature of airport logistics, 100% reliability is non-negotiable. You must be available for early, late, and weekend shifts as required.
- Right to Work: Must have full, unrestricted right to work in the UK. All successful candidates will undergo a basic background check.
Desirable (Not Essential)
A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (B1), experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), or a valid UK driving licence. Knowledge of airport security procedures is a significant bonus.
