Staffing Agency is partnering with a major logistics and distribution client at the heart of the Leeds Logistics Hub LS9 to recruit skilled Assembly Operatives. This is a pivotal role within a fast-paced environment, crucial for the seamless operation of supply chains serving Yorkshire and the wider UK.
Successful candidates will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the final assembly, kitting, and preparation of products for dispatch. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties
- Product Assembly: Accurately assemble components and products according to detailed work instructions and technical specifications.

- Line Efficiency: Work efficiently on production lines to meet daily targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), maintaining a consistent workflow.
- Tool Operation: Safely operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, and basic assembly jigs. No specialist engineering knowledge is required, full training is provided.
- Packaging & Preparation: Package assembled items appropriately, ensuring they are secure and ready for the next stage in the logistics process, whether for storage or dispatch.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all site health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies, including wearing correct PPE and maintaining a tidy workspace.
- Team Collaboration: Work cohesively as part of a larger team, supporting colleagues and communicating effectively with line leads and supervisors.
- Inventory Handling: Assist with the manual handling of components and finished stock, following safe manual handling techniques.
